Finally decided to order one of these from Harold (better known as "Yobokies") in Hong Kong. He specializes in Seiko mods.

He told me that it would take about two weeks to build, and about 10 days after that to get here.

It's a Seiko "Monster Mod" with the Sinn 656-style dial, and a bead blasted case and bracelet. The bead blasting gives it a Titanium look.

I've had my eye on his work ever since I got my Monster. Are you providing him with the base, or are you buying the total package from him?

Very cool looking! I'm also curious if you have to provide the base watch or if he has turn-key jobs for sale.

+1!

Love the Sinn / B&R dial :)

Is it Superlume?

Can you give an indication of price or a link?

That would make an awesome waterproof gen beater

It depends....his watches are pretty popular and I think his web site offerings are in a constant state of flux.

I am getting a turn-key deal from him....watch, bracelet and all the mods are running me $340.00 plus the EMS shipping which is about $20.00.

Here's his web site: http://www.yobokies.com/

To the best of my knowledge it is not....but I'll ask him just to make sure.

Thank you for the info, there's a lot to look through on his site! I like this one too :)

It's a shame the numbers aren't lumed on that B&R / Sinn dial, that would be awesome!!

I'm hoping he'll get some additional stock of the Seiko SNZH57 based Blancpain Fifty Five Fathoms mod:

This is a great looking watch. :)

There's a guy named Dennis Rudy in North Carolina who builds an homage of the original watch that is just too sweet. He uses an ETA 2824-2 movement, sapphire, etc....awesome looking homage IMHO:
