OK...I finally bought one of these...Steinhart content.

I've been contemplating one of these for several months....finally dropped the hammer on a Steinhart Ocean 1 Black.

I realize that the watch borrows heavily from a sub....but I like what you get for the price. ETA 2824-2 movement....superb lume...and it's 42mm. 40mm looks a bit small on my eight-inch wrist.

I've got an Ocean 1 "Green" and love it. As you say, it does borrow rather heavily from the sub, but hey, it looks great and the spec is awesome.
