Which CG is correct ?

The top one is slightly curved to match the contour of the case and is 6.2mm thick in the center, and 5.8mm at he ends.
The bottom one is straight and both sides are parallel and is 7mm thick...
Fuggeddabout the crown thickness on the top one!!...LOL

Here is the best photo of a gen 036 CG I have. It's not the right angle but I think it might help.

Looks like the bottom one isn't right.

The top curved one is more 'correct' although missing the thickness of the gen. It's the CG 99% of reps come with.
The bottom one (it comes on Ruby/Trevor 036) is flat on the top and not quite right. It's also smaller in radius, and the pin is inserted from the bottom, not from the top.

but if you take the 036 cg and put it on ruby's 177h or 113e cg, brush it and put it on her 111h they don't stick down past the bottom of the case like the 036 on the bottom in the picture. they fit beautifully!! lol


ruby's 113e case must be the same case design as the 036 because my 113e from her fits exactly like the 036 on the bottom. 8)

Spare time is scarce, busy family and all, standard story of us in late 30es, early 40es (does that make me part of Generation X :evil, had numerous other hobbies besides this one but had to let go...Pams are now all I have time for during the week...all 1/2 hour per day ....ha, ha. Actually spending less and less time for Pams as well, not good
Need to find a way how to trim the collection though...but I tell ya - it's HARD letting even one of them go! :-(

You're correct...not only Ruby's 113E but lately Angus' 111E "ultimate"....all from the same factory, and all slightly different from standard rep cases.

Good question. I hear DSN offers standard rep cases and his normal cases now. I'd like to find out as well.

AFAIK, and I have not verified this with DSN, his Ti cases are *his* Ti cases. He is only using standard rep cases in some of the SS reps. That could be changing/have changed, though.

No idea if his CGs would fit. My guess would be not, but I haven't tried.
