so many great watches so little time.
anyway i am just looking for some opinions on the 127 and 111h specifically.
having read the other recent topic i am still in doubt as too which watch to choose. I have a large wrist and am not afraid of the 47mm but still like the 111h's look i think it has come to represent what panerai is. So with that in mind here are my questions.
1. Which do you personally prefer
2. Is the quality of both comprable
3. Is the swiss movement really better than CN i mean life span wise
4. Both swiss and CN come with Sapphire and AR correct.
5. Finally and editorial you want on either of these and links to reviews you may have done.

Thanks very much this forum is great I am enjoying it much more than the old RWG great format.

(also anyone who wants I would appreciate pics of either on wrist or not.)

ermmm..

very hard decision...but for me..for first pam ...go for PAM 111H swiss....just for to the max..for this 111..swiss the same with gen...with swan neck..ar coating ...sapphire glass..wat else you need...and buy with box and paper too...

ANDREW..or trustwacthguy...have this in stock I think...go send an email to him ...and ask the price... then tell us everything about it ...

for 47 mm ...well...it looks more vintage...n big..but 111h >> u will never regret to have it ...

127 vs 111h

I got my 127 first, then a 111H. The 111H is a classic, and perhaps the eaier of the two. But I love the 127 more; it's such a singular watch... and one super-lumed, it's so much more striking.

111H is the safer choice, as some fine the 127 too large - so do assess your own physical size, wrist etc before buying the 127.

Good questions and posts.

I have been thinking these questions for awhile still can't decide. So, I don't have any of them, yet.

OK, Should I get 111H before 127? But I am now thinking about 217, though.

S***T, so many good watches but so little money.......

I need a light here. Pleas.................

I just traded my 127 and purchased a Pam 111H from Luckyyy. The 127 was one of the Moljina movements. But of course to alay my cravings for the 47mm, I had to get the 1950 8 Day and the MM without CG. Both are great choices.

Well Sexypapa,

For me ...If i have the money to spend to buy 1 watch ..between 127 / 217 ..I would go for 217...I've been eyeing 217 for quite sometimes..with swan neck movement....it will look good...

seriously..maybe 217 is 1 of the best..even its your choice...make a wise decision ..well to get both you can..but for starter maybe 217...it will make you happy..

It just make me happy everything I see it in pictures...not inperson yet :):)

Well that was my dilema. So I got a used 127 with swiss movement old bridge(for longevity not rep looks) and saphire for a good price. I'll probably go after the 111H with swan's neck later. This is my first rep so I'll see how I like them I had been a seiko citizen man before but love the classic Panerai looks so it was either one of these 2 but I was tempted to go after the perfect 183H because they are so close to the gen. The classic look of the 127 and 111 won out and the sandwich dial was a must for me.

I got my 217 first before I got my 036, however I like 44mm better and if I can choose again I would still go for the 036

D**m, I just got a reply from Andrew regarding to his 111H. Now, I have to think it over, again.

I hope those dealers whom have been asked by me don't get angry at me for not making any buying decision, yet.

So, seriously, 111H or 217?

Only one this time, please!

I have 11h and LOVE it, it's the CN movement version and is excellent quality, it's quite loud but works PERFECTLY. I would highly recommend it to ANYONE.

And this from a strictly Rollie guy, I am a vintage rollie guy but ended up jumping on the PAM bandwagon with the RWG group buy and have to say fall for PAM's more everyday.

111h is AWESOME.......next for me....1950 8 days......063.....005......shit.....more money.....
