Oh my god! Pam359!

I tried on a gen PAM359 yesterday and fell in love!!!!
I have therefore decided that this will be my next rep... and quite possibly my first gen eventually!!!
It JUST looks incredible!

If anyone's bought a rep of these and wants to share experiences/tips, feel free!

I know I know, the rep isn't going to be near the gen in terms of heft, quality and HOOMPH factor, but worth a shot hey?

Anyway, this is my definite next piece... mmm, now just gotta find a dealer, wonder WHERE to look! ;P

i got my rep 359 from sead, seems pretty close to the gen in my view.

but the AR seems to be pretty bad for the rep

Well you're in luck. I'm pasting a link from RWG because Kuvarsit (TD over there) just released a version of the 359. These KW PAM reps are the tops of the tops when it comes to Panerai reps.

Well even if there were flaws... I am not expert enough in PAMs to notice, so I think one of these will do just fine.

It depends. There is more than one maker (as opposed to the word factory, which makes the parts). Not all makers make the same watch. Some models are exclusive to one or two makers. The ones with names which make PAM reps are Noob, H-factory, Kuvarsit (KW) and DSN, but there are some unnamed ones.

For example, the PAM359 on asian7750.com is from a different maker (unknown) than the KW one. Just by looking at the movement you will see (the KW one is updated, check the PAM312 O series for pictures, they share the same movement).

As said in another post AR is not very strong even in gen watches

honestly i can't really tell what the difference between gen and rep are just looking at it real quick.

maybe the crown guard pin?
