My PAM389's pearl wasn't perfectly centered between the 12 o'clock marker. It looked like this:
Since this tended to trigger my OCD I decided to finally fix it. Here's how I did it:
1. Taped all 4 edges down to prevent scratches
2. Used a case knife and pushed it gently but firmly between the case and the bezel on all 4 edges. The bezel came right off.
3. Centered the pearl and pressed the bezel back on the case
On the PAM389 V6F this was a less than 2 minutes job.
A case knife can be bought for a buck or two on Aliexpress. It looks like this:
I also tightened the bezel using the aluminum foil mod described here:

The aluminum foil piece I used was about 0.4x0.4 inches. Rotating the bezel feels a lot better know. The foil is invisible from the outside.
I'm going to apply these mods to my PAM1389 and PAM508 too. For the 508 I probably need some sort of dark aluminum foil instead.
