Ocean 7: Worth the money?

Wow, two GuG topics within hours of each other.

I just got my hands on this OCEAN 7 LM-3. Here's the deal, though. The guy who owned it was drunk at a party and took a pretty nasty fall with the watch taking a large part of the impact.
He polished out most of the scratches but there are a few left on the bezel, and there is a chip at the edge of the crystal. It came with the wood box set, hang tag, etc. I got it for $100. Think I did ok on this one? Honest opinions please - I really don't know anything about the brand.
