Hi,

I'm looking to get another PAM, but after Noob is gone, I don't know of the best models / factories to get.

Please advise!

Thanks

Most of the models I like are the 47mm historical ones like 372, 663, 1080, 587.

I see hwf makes some but they aren’t accurate in terms of the crystal shape.

Well, I think you're approaching the search wrong.
Choose models that you like and do a research on them.
Generally VSF hasn't brough many 47mm pams lately.
Thats the current VSF/SBF offering:

Your question just made me think back about the 2024 for Panerai Replica and I must say it was very disappointing. Also, I don't see anything good happening this year.
The only 2024 release that got me excited was the 1024 by VSF. They delivered both in terms of accuracy and overall quality.

But that's it in my opinion.

This is partly due to the complete lack of imagination with new gen models. Nothing really exciting coming from Panerai

For sure this situation is linked to the gen panorama and overall decline!

My vision is not that they have few nice pieces, but - on the contrary - that they diluted their heritage and image in too many releases and iterations of the same (or mostly the same) stuff.

Very true.

Latest Navy Seals issues:
1518 is pretty much identical to 1323. Slightly different dial and hands. And of course strap.
1513 is the same as 1324 with slightly different dial and hands. Price is outrageous with 20k. 10k premium to the same watch just cause of the carbon case is insane.

Panerai is slowly turning into the Ed Hardy of watches

Are there any factories still putting out the 47mm historical lineup? Stuff like the 372, 127 etc.

I´ve bought a 1024 and a 382 N Bronzo ant the quality for me is outstanding.
The 382 in my opinion had a terrible crystal AR, so I bought a new 2 x AR coated and now it is simply perfect!
