well a rental would save the cost of liquidating if you had to file for bankruptcy or a nasty divorce ...
heck 200.00 a month is less than some peoples phone bills...
now which Rollie did I want again? lol

Couldn't get to the page.

Either way I personally wouldn't bother renting a watch. Don't see the point really. It isn't a necessity. You'd only need to do that if you needed to come across as wealthy, in which case you might as well buy a rep and keep it.

Also you can BUY a Rolex on 0% finance.

So I just don't see the point!!!!

Can't access the link but wouldn't mind renting a watch for a week before deciding whether I want to buy it.

I totally agree with all of you guys! I know a guy who rent a watch once because he had an important meeting with very important people and he did not have any watch and he wanted to give a good impress to all the people in that meeting. I told him: you should save some money and buy a nice watch or a good rep :)

Interesting.. But what if they're lost or stolen? I'm assuming they need to be insured while in possession

A fair few of their watches are repped, and repped well too at that.

If your ultimate goal is to by a gen, like what those guys are kinda suggesting - buy a rep, if you like it, buy then gen and flip the rep :D

If anyone wants to rent any of my watchs.. I need 125% deposit of which 120% will be returned when I get the watch back.

term would be 1 month.

I bet they will be relatively successful. Some wanna be millionaires will go for this so they can talk about it with their friends.
I say $2400 per year for a watch that cost 2-3 times to own is not a good idea. What is a good idea is buying a $200 rep every month and enjoying a nice and varied collection.

Linde Werdelin has offered this service for quite some time! A 48 or maybe 72 hour trial period, I can't remember exactly.
And guys - it's like a rental car - deposit/hold on credit card to secure funds should any damage occur - common sense!! :)

P.S. Gran Torino is a great movie
