NOT Your Father's RootBEER -- Anyone Tried It??

This stuff is unreal!! You would have no idea there is alcohol in it. Just tastes like one of the best rootbeers you've ever had.

My wife got one when we were down in Fort Walton and couldn't drink it fast enough. They're pretty tough to find because they're always sold out everywhere up here, and expensive too... $15 for a 6 pack!!

I recommend serving very cold! :thumbup:

Little too sweet for my liking but it is good. They are about 10 bucks for a six pack where I live.

Yes a root beer beer. I am not a fan of root beer but of the two the coney island is better tasting to me

Trying the coney island one this weekend.

I have always loved rootbeer, and while this is good, I dont think I could drink more than one, way too sweet for me!

This stuff became a big hit in PA this summer. Was selling out like crazy. Not Your Fathers is actually an ale with spices and flavoring to get it to taste like an old rootbeer. You can certainly taste the ale base at the end of a sip. All in all I think the hard root beers are a great seasonal thing, they are my new fall vice, to be followed by my winter addiciton to MAD ELF!!! (sidenote I have found not your fathers to be the best brand out of the varietites I have sampled including Coney Island and Spreckles. )
