I have bought a Tudor Black Bay, paid close to 400 usd, received a watch with a band that can not be sized because of the frozen screws.
I have taken this watch to my watch guy and he broke a screwdriver trying to remove the screws.
I have reached to the dealer for some kind a resolution and he basically said, tough. I tried to respond to his email and he blocked me.
If anyone decides to buy from this dealer, ask for the watch to be sent with the screws removed or loosened. ask for that on the QC pictures.
Anyway, i am very disappointed.

just put a lighter on the part of the band and heat the screw and link. That will break the loctite and you will be fine

I have a brand new set of screwdrivers from amazon waiting for this task. Hopefully the screws will be fine. You should probably use as new or sharp screwdrivers as possible

i had the same experience (different TD, but the TD is irrelevant to this situation. Its not their fault). I broke every china-made screwdriver I had. Embarrassed in being bested by a SCREW (3 of them), I bought this product and it worked perfectly. A 5-minute soak of the side with the screw threads, and done. Of course, I had already marred my bracelet at that point, but live and learn.

When you do get the screws out it is true that some bracelet designs are more of a pain in the ass to assemble than others. I find Rolex bracelets to be among the simplest to adjust. Omega Seamaster is a different story though

For those that stumble in here.. heat the screws before you remove them and use a proper bladed driver. This is super, super, super, super, super, super, did I mention super, not dealer related common with reps. Loctite & dirt are like :

I have a 58 on a US (unclestraps) bracelet, it's pretty great. Forstner bracelets on some of my other BBs (Gens too). I don't care for the fake rivet odd fitting Tudor bracelets anyway, love the watches but hate the bracelets. Do a quick search and you'll find a lot of people hate them. I tried half-links and reef links and sure it fit better but the aftermarket are far more comfortable. The model O that Forstner sells not only has more than 3 adjustments (lol) it has a stretch link so it's always a perfect fit. Not what you want to hear but the Tudor bracelets are sort of ass anyways unless were talking the pro or the newer 41 burgundy. You may of inadvertently stumbled into a upgrade that may increase the enjoyment of the watch immensely. I digress, sorry for your loss.

PS: There is an oyster on the bay that includes a non-signed glide lock that fits.

I know right? HOW DARE they block you and HOW DARE the screw is so tight!!
They should have unscrewed all screws and ship them separate.

PS: tell your watch guy to quit using chinese screw drivers. Get a full set of Bergeon for $1800 . You'll need these to unscrew your fake watches.

While you're at it, dip the watch in baby oil to losen the screws. Let it sit there for 10 minutes.

Let me flip this a bit. If @czaharia had contacted ANY of us and asked for help, it would have been given. I’ve found this community to be incredibly generous.

But, and there is always a but, my dad used to say, “nobody likes a bellyacher.” I’d guess the poor guy (gal?) has learned his (her?) lesson.

There are very few among us who have not had a purchase or sale go South. We should therefore be compassionate.

But, and a lot of the time there is a second but, it is how we handle things that go sideways that people notice.

@czaharia if you have issues in the future, before you post your complaint, send me a PM and I will try to help or help you find someone who can.

You handled this poorly but we can all learn from our mistakes. I mean what I said about offering a hand but let’s move on.
