made payment for a watch and got fast replies within an hour from each of my emails with payment info. After payment confirmation I was also told that qc photos will take at least 12 days to be sent due to raids on the factories. 13 days after that I received that email I sent a follow up email just to check how long more I have to wait for qc photo. This email was sent 2 days ago but I have yet to receive a reply. Is this normal from this seller? I understand the seller might not know exactly how many more days before he receives and can forward me the qc photo but is it normal to not even get a reply telling me so?

Yes it's normal. TDs tend to reply when there's news to tell. No news, no replies. Especially when there's raids ongoing. On top of that, consider that TDs receive hundreds of mails per day, so it may take a while. Be patient, knock on their door in a week or so.
I would also add to look around the form and see if there's any information on the particular maker and model that you ordered. I know some like for example VSF only release batches intermittently as of late so you could be looking at a few weeks, also, if you ordered a clean then I know they had significant raids recently so there's going to be a waiting period for them to come back online.
Ah I ordered a Richard Mille rm035 from sonic factory. Maybe their factory are currently not in operation

Emailed again to ask for update and was told the model I ordered wasn’t available and if I can change on 22.5.2024
Confirmed that I’ll change to the model he suggested and asked for lead time for QC photo with no reply 23.5.2024
I understand while they may receive many emails, personally I feel without communication and these businesses not being legal, for first time buyers like myself all I know I might have been scammed which deters me from placing new orders until I receive my first order without problem. Also we are their customers, so I think some sort of customer service is to be expected.
I kind of agree with you but at the same time, many of us are just thinking deep down: I've got a 50-50 chance of getting screwed and we are pressuring vendors more than we would with legal businesses.
So I'm trying to keep it cool, although I'm not amused at all by the delay in answering.

Payement made in May 15th for a Cartier Santos 35 mm.
I still have not received QCs after several mails to Chazing .
For each email, Chazing is writing that the QCs are coming, but this has been almost 2 months.

QC are quality control pictures that you receive and that you have to approve before giving the Go for sending the watch.

Thank you for your quick answer. I am new here and new in this rep business. Actually, I wonder if it is worthwihile. The reps from chanzingtime seem high end seen the prices for a Santos 35 mm. I conclude they are premium reps compared to other sellers which prices vary between 100 and 150€. Havent you confirmed yet your purchase because you are waiting for the QC? Do they say why you havent received it yet?
I have waited 4 months (3/24 thru 7/2024) for a specific watch, and it never happened. I asked for a refund unsure if the watch would ever arrive and fearful the money spent would be a casualty. The point of my story is Chazing Time immediately refunded the money after I made a request through Wise to transfer the money back. These folks are very respectable.
