Hi guys, Ive been a member here for a while and I have almost overwhelmed myself with information. Correction. I think I am overwhelmed. My OCD doesnt help either.

Im looking to buy a rep, haven't quite decided which one yet as there are so many to choose from>

Im after a working Chrono. I get all excited about one and then read that the movement used for that particular watch is not so good in that application ., and then the nest one I get excited about is way thicker than it should be which will make wearing under a jacket difficult.
For what its worth I am leaning towards a Paneri. Some of them look coool. Omega Seamaster 300 Chrono also look the goods and the Speedmaster Racing also are easy to look at. I currently have a Speedmaster racing with a Miyota quart in it that I picked up from a Hong Kong market 6 years ago. Its been awesome but the crown has come loose and wobbles around and its only a matter of time before it falls off.

Anyway, 2 things. I would appreciate any direction on the better factories to look at for these watches. I have read the guides but they seem a little out of date.
Once I pull the trigger and order something from a TD I believe they will send me pictures for a quality check. I am ill equipped to be able to do this with any real knowledge. I have see some of the QC pics on this site and you guys see stuff that I cant even see even after you have pointed it out.

Would it be inappropriate to post the pics on one of these sub forums and ask for someone to take a look at the QC pics?

My thanks goes out to the people with knowledge who happily share and maintain this forum. Well done and Thank you.

Cheers

Oh last question,
Should I be worried ordering a watch from Australia and the customs provcess?

cheers

Hello and welcome.
Where to start... So you've been a member for almost 2 years and say you've read a lot, but from the questions you ask it seems like you're missing a sizeable amount of necessary information to be able to "exploit" your membership in the right way. I think you should start by reading all the stickies in the New members area, you'll find a lot of info and rules there and links to other important threads.
First rule here is, you gotta do your homework a bit before you turn to the forum's help, members generally don't like to do the work because you're lazy. And to be honest, that's what being part of this is about, learning, sharing and enjoying together.
A couple tips to your questions.
You can't post QC pics and ask if all is OK. You can post selected pics and ask about one particular issue.
Customs: let the td sort that out, they do this all the time and know what's the best way to ship to a particular country. Still, there's obviously some risk you have to take into account, this is an illegal endeavor, after all.
For your research, use Google, add following to your search: "... site:forum.replica-watch.info". You'll find a lot of info just from this site and will be able to pick according to date to get the most recent info.
Good luck

If you are after a rep with working chrono, then pick a rep with the vaunted ST-19 movement. I have 3 cheapy Daytonas with that movement, and all of them are running well. Back when Noob was producing Daytonas with the incredible A4130 clone movement, I got two of the V2s, and while one ceased to function after a few months, the other one, a Panda, is still keeping good time and the chrono is functioning precisely. My brother also bought a Noob Daytona, and his is also still running well.

I recommend staying away from 7750's with second hand at 12 or 6. They are particularly unreliable in my experience.
Good luck with your rep!

Have you fixed your Daytona v2 ? If yes, did you know what was wrong ? Thanks.
