I'm about to pull the trigger on a Noob 292 which hopefully ill be able to get on a brown Asso since this upcoming 505 wont be ceramic, but my question is since the pig on the 292j isn't all that accurate would it mean that the 292 N without the pig is closer to its Gen then the 292j?

I have the 292J and I love it. The pig is so small, I'd be surprised you can tell the part. It adds great character IMO..

I just ordered and got qc pics of my noob non pig 292 because the 505 isn't out yet and I want ceramic not coated
Only issue I can see is the crown neck protruding from the case is about 1mm to long

So what I gathered from Ale's review is that either I get a slightly lower "Panerai" print on the Dial of the 292 N or an inaccurate pig on the 292J.

But the pig is much less noticeable, almost no noticeable.

Oops that was supposed to be a txt msg! Lol where's my head at? Anyway, so the 292J it'll be! Now I just have to find a TD that'll get it for me on an Asso strap! Hopefully Ryan can do that for me!
I got my 292J from Ryan. He should be able to source one for you. Ask him to do QC on the crown slippage, too.
Got my 292j from Toro last month along with an asso strap. He might be sold out though as I don't see the 292j listed under his specials any longer.
Omg I'm psyched, that strap suits it really well Tranzmizzion! Maybe ill get a custom strap also when I get tired of the Asso!
