Noob V10? with gen 3135 play between movement and case.

Hi there,
I bought a Noob V10 3135 without any movement on aliexpress but not sure what did I get. For sure is not a Noob V10 as I compared the one I receive with some V10 in forums. My main issue is that I want to mount a gen 3135 movement but the outside diameter of the 3135 is 28.5mm and I think the inner diameter of the case is 30mm so the movement has a lot of play inside and is floating. Any one knows what rep has a 30mm diameter?. Other supliers and forums say that mounting a gen 3135 is a direct swap and the diameters should match. I couldnt find movement spacer rings or anything so Im not really sure what did I get. Any light in this will be appreciated as I need to open a dispute and send the watch back.

Well, just my 2 cents, but the general advice given for anyone buying a used gen is to take it to an AD who will examine the movement to verify the authenticity of the watch, right? Most of us realize that there are other tells, but maybe some folks think that they can swap in a gen movement and pass it off as a gen. Cost of the gen 3135 plus the cost of a rep is still thousands less than the cost of a gen. Sooooo.....

Advantages are accuracy, robustness, longevity and so on. This is achieved by factors such as smaller tolerances, less friction, better material, use of correct jewels (not only for decoration purposes), correctly functioning shock absorber etc. etc.

But I'd never put a genuine movement in a Aliexpress / DHgate / Canal Street replica. In my opinion, such an expensive movement only makes sense if you put it in a (Super-)Franken or Genstein, so that the functionality and the optical flawlessness are balanced.

I saw other people installing 3135 on all kind of Noobs without the so called movement holder ring, So after a lot of investigation I cant find any replica manufacturer that does a submariner case with 30mm inside diameter and that needs a brass or similar movement holder ring. Any can bring light to this?

Also I forgot to mention that the datejust is not second hand I bought it brand new, and my intention is not to sell it to anyone and make it pass as a gen because that will be stupid loosing my gen datejust. Mounting the gen movement in the replica will keep my datejust free from scraches and dents so I can abuse the replica and keep the datejust in better condition.

I'm absolutely against butchering a perfect gen in order to transfer some pieces on a rep.

But if you really gonna do it, at least get a proper base, get either a whole Noob v10 or a whole ZZF v2

Interesting that you felt the need to offer this up-front denial of the intention to do exactly the thing that must be crossing a lot of members' minds. Because what you're describing not intending to do is shitty underhand behaviour, totally condemned by the community.

And yet it's still hard to understand why someone would part out the movement from a 100% genuine Rolex watch, even if they'd bought it new and then realised they didn't like the look of it. Would make much more sense to buy a Noob v10 or a ZZF v2, wear that instead and keep the DJ stored away in the hope that it acts as an investment.

My head hurts reading this. I cannot fathom someone breaking apart perfectly good genuine watch. If you don't like it you're better off just selling it and buying something you actually like, are building the watch you have described, versus yanking pieces out of it. Just my two cents though.

With all my respects, I dont care about what others do with their own belongings its their business and butchering is too far from reality to describe mounting a movement with original hands and dial into another case. Nothing is broken or chopped in order to make it work. Just open cases and replace, less than 30 minutes work for a skilled operator with the right tools.
A proper base is not a NOOB V10?, it is what I bought but not what I received why im asking in this forum. Best thing to do is to send it back for a refnd.
Anyone knows what replica case comes with a 30mm internal diameter without entering in endless comments to say if it wrong to do this?

Not sure why you're worrying about this exact diameter spec. If the only thing wrong with the watch you received is the movement case and you're happy with it otherwise, you shouldn't open a dispute IMHO.

If you intend to use a gen movement on a rep from a perfectly good gen watch (which I don't recommend, but as you have mentioned its your business what you do), atleast buy the rep from a TD on this forum. You buy from AliExpress and expect to get support here, not happening mate. If you bought from a TD on this forum, you would have been assured to get a 3135 case with 28.5mm diameter. Even if mistake was made, they would have fixed it for you.

Do you live with your mom?, im sure you are, I dont have time to read if someone on this site sells shitty replica watches neither time to read the rules of the forums. I read very usefull info in other places about replica watches mounting gen movements. This is the first time I post or ask something in a forum but never spec to find so many bright people answering simple questions. The seller in Aliexpress (great place for Noobs, Arfs, Nail and ZZF, you should try it) agreed to send me another watch case and pay for the return of the Nail I received. I have 60 days buyer protection. Dont know if any TD here can warranty that and I dont even care. Its that silly enought? I really started hating the datejust and somehow started liking the sub, I never had a replica before, so I dont care if it gets damaged putting a gen movement, sub dial and sub hands in a replica. So I can abuse it when working with tools etc... I dont want to use my other Gen watches to work in the garage. I will enjoy my Franken and you can enjoy your 100% replicas!!!! Enjoy the forum!!
