Noob question re: egiziano

Been looking around and it seems DSN has a pretty righteous egiziano, except it's listed at 52mm. From what I understand, that's the accurate vintage size, but I'm looking for a 60mm unit (I have a 9" wrist, need a big face).

The question I can't seem to answer on my own is whether the ones listed at 60mm are including the crown guard (i.e. all egizianos are 52mm faces) or are DSN's just smaller? If it's the latter, does anyone know of a dealer who sells 60mm egizianos with non-synthetic crystal?

You're honestly worried that 52mm won't be BIG enough for you? I realize you have a 9" wrist, but still....

Check our trusted dealers section if you're after the 60mm one. I have no idea about the sapphire/mineral crystal question. I doubt there is more than one factory making these, though.

Well thank you for your reply, and yes, I'm worried that 52mm is a touch small, for two reasons. One is that even 44-46mm watches look like children's toys on my wrist.

The second is that a co-worker has one of those hulking Invicta watches and I would very much like my watch to be able to beat up his watch, or at least appear to have that capacity. I am willing to pay good money so that my wrist may intimidate his when we pass in the halls, so that I can know my superiority in the whimpering of cowed timepieces desperately trying to migrate into their wearers' pockets.

Thanks for your help guys. Anopsis, I was admiring your egi while trolling around the forums earlier, and based partly on your posts I tried getting one from T4D. Filled out the form, haven't heard anything back yet -- my major concern was that the description doesn't say what kind of crystal he's using and whether it's a 60mm face, or 60 with the CG. Your photo makes it look bigger than the 52mm, which is exactly what I'm trying to find.

Appreciate the feedback, and I'm hoping to be able to shake down other watches for their lunch money shortly.

As I stated earlier, I'm pretty certain there is only 1 factory making this watch. Therefore, T4D's watch will be the same as all the other 60mm Egiz watches. Yes, it is 60mm without the CG.

ok the puck is hilarious. what is the lug size on that puck? I might wear wear with the right strap. Maybe a vintage Sherwood strap or Koho?

Hi, I ordered the mini-egi version 47mm just yesterday from Supermirrors - he does have a section on the forum but no website/ can source it; excellent TD with good watches but little communication and no qc-pics, if You order You will have to be patient;
