Noob PAM390 Mods?

Hi guys,
I recently picked up a PAM390 from a fellow RWI member, and I have a couple of questions/concerns:

1. What are some common upgrades/mods done to this watch to get it closer to Gen? Hands/CG/ETC... Anything would help.

2. The crown on the watch is loose when winding. Is this repairable?

3. I'm also looking for rubber straps. Should I go GEN or REP? Which one to get?

Which reminds me, I got a pair (or two?) of Davisden's gold hands but never got to have them installed (primarily because I sold the PAM before I received the hands). Good thing I just re-acquired a PAM390.

To be honest mate, not much is really needed. Yeah, you can do some things to it. The hands being the biggest, but I'd sink that money somewhere else IMO. Unless you plan to keep it forever like I am with mine [emoji51] bought a noob 3 years ago, and have NOT let it out of my hands lol

Do I request for crown adjustment and CP flattening? Or is that something watchmakers will notice when they take it apart? My crown seems to be loose.

You have to let the watchmaker know you want the CP polished and flattened. As for the crown a good service should help but really depend on the movement itself.
Are you using someone on RWI? If not I would recommend you send a few PMs. We have really talented watchmakers here.

For strap why not look around for a nice aftermarket strap instead of OEM.

If you really wanna go all out- prof 2x AR crystal [emoji12]. For a starter strap the C&B "marina" is a great one.
