NOOB PAM 111 Advice needed please

Hi,

I have just received a Noob Pam 111 from sead today and having an issue with the crown (compared to another 111 I own).

So basically I move the lever and pull out the crown (very tight) to adjust the hands and 1 the crown is very wobbly and 2 the lever will not push the crown back in as it pushes it on an angle so I have to manually push the crown in by hand.

The watch seems to wind okay.

Any advice on how to rectify this would be greatly appreciated. I provide a link with a short video later today on the issue.

Many thanks

For what it’s worth I also had a similar issue with a brand new noob v12 111. I believe this speaks to poor assembly or production of current noob, unsure who exactly is assembling them but it’s clearly a shell of old noob.

I actually also have this issue on a 911 Noob I got. Its really hard to pull the crown and adjust but keeps great time. I am thinking the movement needs serious lube and cleaning. My other Noob pam 111 is smooth in everything.

Yeah I think you might be right, do you happen to know who's the go to man for a service on panerai models? Or should I potentially message sead to see if anything can be done? I have only ever used a TD once before and tend to buy m2m. I have to admit other than that the service sead has provided has been exceptinal 2 days from order to my door.

I think I have resolved the issue after speaking to sead, I removed the crown guard and ran through all the positions of the crown numerous times, refit the crown guard and all seems good :)

How are you guys getting noob 111? My TD told me they are shut down and no longer being made.

I had the same issue with my Noob Pam 005. I don’t mind not being able to push in with the lever but be careful you might just pull the crown out completely.

Yes - be very cautious following this advice from Sead.... The crown on my 911 would not push down into position using the CG lever and when I took the CG off to inspect - this happened.... Not catastrophic but certainly inconvenient.
