Noob PAM 026K-series and PAM 292 “J†–series (with PIG logo) released

Puretime has announced the introduction from Noob of the PAM 026 K-series and the 292 J-series (please nore “Jâ€-series)

PAM 026k correct colour DLC coated
PAM 292J with appropriate PIG logo (like gen J series, read the PAM REVIEW-GUIDE) and Ceramic crown.
Curiously the old J series likely didn’t come with ceramic crown like the last series. Therefore, although Noob has wanted making a better rep it is possible that it is inaccurate. It seems that Noob will offer two versions: ceramic crown and SS DLC coated crown.

According to my research, first PAMs 292J were really equipped with PVD ss crowns I am expecting H-factory 292J in two or three days - will do review and then - when Noob's will appear - we will compare.

First units of PAM 292J were delivered to buyers on the beginning of 2008. Production was so slow that some sources explained Panerai was able to produce only about 80 watches per month! Then they changed supplier (according to Joshua, these new ceramic cases for Panerai were produced in China) and everything went faster. Knowing Panerai's problem with just ceramic case, I doubt they were able to focus on ceramic crowns from the start - the change to ceramic ones was possible with that another supplier, I guess. That's why first 292J were supplied with just ss PVD crowns. Later - they maybe turned into ceramic. It is possible that only a part of 292J production, the latter one, was with ceramic crown, if any.

What is interesting - first signals of cracked ceramic crown caps were appearing on the beginning of 2011, not before....

My dealer is not a TD since he is Joshua/Perfect Clones. He was ruled out from this forum for "cartel price policy" which I think was correct. Anyway, I used to buy from him without any problems so far. Since there is a kind of a conflict of interests between "cartel" and Pure Time, you can observe that some of new releases are becoming exclusive and first-to-have:

- Noob factory through Pure Time
- H-factory through Perfect Clones

In this case H-factory started to actually deliver 292J while Pure Time was quick with "me too" announcement regarding the watch.

In case of H-factory 292J, Joshua claims the ceramic is also "imported one" which sounds the same as Angus story. I would not be surprised both cases will have origin in the same ceramic factory The difference is Angus suggested that the price of Noob's version will be higher: "(...) PAM292J will be more expensive as the noob maker told me the cost of their ceramic case is almost triple than the others in the market as the quality is very high, they used imported quality ceramic material and the best ceramic factory". H-factory has regular price, comparable to stainless steel models.

Since I am expecting production of ceramic cases is time-consuming procedure and both factories needed to contract 3rd party to do that in almost the same time - it is the same ceramic factory with H-factory's order being first to deliver, then Noob's one. Hence the wait for Noob's version.

Shit , I'm really unlucky............:suicide:
I just bought a PAM 026K "H" and now I read the version that came out best noob.
Now I can not buy it because of PureTime not mind the price and then work from July 28 I will be out of town on business. I'll be back mid-August.
I hope you can sort, sell it here on the forum my "H" version and will buy the version Noob.
And if I want to spend and take "GEN"....... , so I will no problems whit new versions of Pam026

Just got this PAM 026k Noob w/ Rubber Strap. First day, movement worked for 2 hours, now the movement doesn't work anymore after full wind.
