Hi, I tried to order a NOOB Oysterflex Daytona from Andrew at Trusty but unfortnately unavailable.

I have opted to order the standard Daytona but wondered if anyone can share what the difference is for me between the 2, and is the difference significantly noticable?

Thanks

First, you need to answer what a “standard” Daytona is?

I seldom do this but since this is talking about Daytona...

First of all, read the info on RWI:

So, what is a "standard" Daytona? And what is an "outstanding" one? You didn't even mention which specific Daytona you're talking about...

Sorry you will have to excuse my phrasing, I am very new to the rep watch game!

I actually do not know what I meant by “standard” but it seemed the NOOB was a higher quality rep due to the premium (an additional $400.

Here is the other Daytona I was looking at

Any help you have for me would be greatly appreciated.

My opinion regarding the Daytona is as follows: Clean and BTF > QF > Noob and the rest.

Don't buy Noob or any other just because they're the most expensive; that's simply foolish.

No offense intended, quite the opposite, but if you want to last in this game, you need to learn how to do your research.

For example, when buying a gold watch, you should know which factory has the best gold color (there's a big difference).

All replicas have flaws and differences, but it's up to you to decide which ones you can live with. What I consider a dealbreaker may not necessarily be the same for you.

You should look at comparisons like this one, for example:

And determine which ones suit you best.

And sorry, I don't know the model you're looking for well enough to tell you the difference between Noob and QF. BUT you will definitely find them here on the forum if you look.

I hope some of what I tried to say made sense. Good luck!

Hi Josse,

I would just like to say a huge Thankyou for the breakdown above, this has been such a big help. It seems Clean is the way to go after doing some more research! Wow I have a lot to learn!
