Noob | First order with Steve | Clean V2 GMT II 126710 BLRO & GMT II 116710 LN

Hi guys,

New to the Rep watch game, after doing some background reading around models and TD's i decided to pull the trigger on a Clean V2 GMT II BLRO and GMT II 116710 LN.
Looking the feedback and the general consensus around TheOneWatches I went ahead and contacted Steve and place the order as per above.
So far so good, excellent comms and feedback from Steve, timeline as per below:


01/02/23 - Order Placed
01/02/23 - Payment Completed
01/02/23 - Payment Confirmed
02/02/23 - Pending QC's
09/02/23 - Received QC for BLRO

Will be looking to validate the QC pics for BLRO this week.

Hey man congrats on your new order! I myself am new and looking to purchase my first rep. Funnily enough the exact one you bought is one of my considerations. My other two choices are the black arf milguass or a VSF 126610. Let me know how it is because a huge, but dumb factor for me is, i love polished center lugs on the oyster bracelet. It could definitely sway my decision to a model that has that feature ;-)

Thanks man. I do love the Oyster but only on a Batman .
Just going through the QC pics, got 1 thing which has cropped up which I may ask for assistance here otherwise so far so good.

How has everything been with Steve so far?

Good so far and I'm gaining "patience is key". It's been crickets for the past 4-5 days. Still no QC on the Explorer. By the frequency of new orders listed here I'm putting it down to high a high volume of orders following the CNY shut down. I'm sure Steve's doing the best he can. I'm not going to bother him with more messages.

Great news! Both watches arrived this afternoon.

Being my first reps all I can say is wow. Actually taken back by how good the rep game has become.
These were not the cheapest to begin but CF definitely seems to the current way forward in terms of GMT's, I'm sure there is always room to potentially upgrade the crystal or Bezel but more than happy so far.

Will post up some pics soon once I remove some of the links for fitting.

Great news! They both look fantastic. Mine seem to have made it stateside but are in some sort of "hand off" from the international mail service to USPS. USPS tracking say's they are in route but have not been received at a facility yet. Been like this for 5 days and no update.

These arey two next models. Do you reckon that the Clean Factory versions are the ones to go for? Better than VSF?

Mine both arrived today! Really happy overall. Took a bit longer than I would have expected but Steve ended up rejecting the first Explorer without QC'ing it. Nice to know he's looking out for his buyers.
