Is the noob crown guard more accurate?
I just picked up a 312 where the tip of the crown guard lever isn't rounded off..
This is bugging me..compared it and looked through the panerai catalog and they actually do not have a uniformed lever neither..
Any suggestions?
Should I be also looking for a noob crown guard? Or noob lever?

The 312 is a 1950 case style, not the 44mm discussed here.
Neither noob or H-fac make the 312/320/351/359, if You have the latest it was made by Angus (Puretime) own "boutiqe maker".
So there is no better CG for the 312 then the one You have.
May I suggest shaping the lever tip Yourself. Fine grit sandpaper and a steady hand

It is important don't get confused about the CG of the regular Luminor 44mm and 1950 style. Noob CG is just superior in regular Luminor 44mm case
