So I was about to pull the trigger on a JJF calibre Dover in black (although I initially wanted the blue but read on here the color was way off), when I came across a mention of a Noob version that supposedly has a replica of the 9015 movement.... Looks like it’s relatively new and there’s no info I could find on here about it.

so, hoping for a couple of things:
1. Thoughts from anyone who has experience with this noob version.
2. Color accuracy check for the blue noob (linked below)
3. General opinions on if I should go with the black JJF and just prepare for a noisy movement or take a chance on the Noob...

thanks for your time. I was very nervous about getting my first rep until I found this forum yesterday. Thanks.

It is no Noob factory. This web always makes mention to Noob. Look careful the description. It is TF and is older than the JJF and JF. I am after a diver too with bracelet. It is difficult to affirm the blue is way off because I have been unable to find a comparative with the Gen. Probably in black JF as JJF may be first replicas

BenAtx Vinvin7 I am very close to buying a Cartier Calibre Diver too. I have nearly pulled the trigger twice in the last month but changed my mind at the last minute and went for two other watches instead.
Now I am back itching to get one and found this post while doing some more research and only just found out about the colour match on the blue version while reading this.
This is what I was going to get, here from Jtime https://jtimestore.net/us/calibre-d...-jf-1-1-best-edition-on-ss-bracelet-a23j.html
I have been looking and comparing pictures of the blue rep version compared to gen. Not much in it.
Either way I like the colour and that's the important thing so I don't think a slight difference will sway me and it is about £6,700 cheaper than gen so that's a good deal :p
Also, pictures are a guide and useless compared to when you have one on your wrist.
I am waiting for my TD to get back to me with availability on my first choice (Navitimer) and I think I will make this Cartier diver my second choice. If the Nav is available, I am pretty sure I will get the Cartier next purchase. I will post pics when that day comes.
It would be great to hear from any members who have any first hand experience on this watch.

What I have seen from different trusted and non trusted dealers is the JJF blue diver having a much more clear blue bezel than the JF maker, and that's the reason of not having purchased yet. I like more the blue tone of the JF. I have visited in several occasions Cartier boutiques in the last two years and I believe may be Cartier have changed in the last year the blue tonality from a light blue to a darker tonality which I like much more. The first time I saw the watch I didn't like at all, the light blue bezel was more adecuate of a toy than a luxury watch but recently at Cartier boutique I liked much more with I beleive a darker bezel, and I suppose that JF has tried to emulate this darker tonality. That is my impression and finally JF blue diver is in my list of future purchases.
