Hi All -
My friend has a Noob 292j which he purchased on my advice. He was wearing it this evening and just told me the crown and at least part of the stem came out. Is this common on this model? Should we be able to open the case, depress the stem release and reinsert? I don't have a pic at my disposal so I can't say whether the stem is broken or not.

Thanks for your time!
Paul

This is common -- has happened to two of my 292's. Angus at Puretime switched them both out for me no problem. Only thing that sucks is sending it back and waiting a month to have it returned. Tell your buddy to contact the dealer who sold it to him and see if they can provide a similar service.

Happened to my with my 232, while I was setting the time the crown and stem came out. Luckily the stem was intact so I brought it to my watchsmith who fixed it for 10 euro. Pretty easy fix, I think he just depressed the release and reinserted.
I would not try it myself, esp if you're not sure whether the stem is intact.
