How is it not profitable - considering the demand. Or is the real issue, APs are so damn profitable that they look at it as "why bother?"
glad I kept mine...
I definitely agree. I think, with AP's and Rolex's there is constant demand that never ends but with brands like Panerai , JLC; Bell & Ross and other brands, the interest is so little compared to AP and Rolex, I can see why they wouldn't want to put these models to production line. It's mostly people over at forums demanding a product and when they come up with it, because they won't do such large quantities and due to upgrades they will do, the price will be increased which will lead to a decrease in sales. And that's why these factories mostly rely on making profit rather than making the customers happy. I can see why they don't make the very perfect ROO or a submariner. It's because they make money off of doing versions of watches. It's a schema most brands use ( why would they give you the ultimate most seller rep goods like ROO or submariner? ) If they gave you that you wouldn't buy a second version once it's out. With pams though, they aren't frequent and don't require so much modding. I'm mostly happy with every pam the known makers produce out of the box. But they don't end up making enough profit.
I'm happy with most of my noob purchases, My fiddy is surely a keeper. I just simply wish that I would have gotten a JLC Navy seals too
But good news, I got a 364 on the way!
Last but not least for those who have come this far
I got intel that a maker of fine details for pams will be producing the fiddy, They are just trying to source a gen. Once the fiddy gets produced the gates open to 233 as well. Also this exact maker is planning on making the 569, 305, 508 in real ceramic, 24 and as well as 25.
