NOOB 116519 Daytona on Rubber B - Which Strap Do You Prefer??

Ok, it's not RubberB, it's the gen Rolex alligator strap. Still, I think I prefer the SS over any other strap. I like alligator on Daytona but only on RG/YG models.
ps. Regarding the 'uncomfortable' rep Oysterflex, the Noob ones are indeed uncomfortable but the ARF ones are way way softer and flexible, Better yet, go gen. I've picked up gen straps for around £150 per side on ebay.

Yep but I never ever want to pretend to be wearing a gen when I'm wearing a rep. So fantasy watches match my attitude imho :thumbsup:.

Me too. Fantasy or not, it's stunning. There are at least two that I have seen on TRF so I'd bet there are many more gen's like this out there in the world. It'd take a watch idiot savant to know (1) it's a fantasy and (b) that it's a rep - when I'm wearing it, YMMV.

Yes, you're right of course. StreetFighter swapped the 116519 grey dial into a different case.
I might have read somewhere here that the endlinks can be swapped and/or modded to be fit. I might be wrong though.

Your'e a little bit wrong....!
You can get aftermarket endlink adapters to allow for the fitting of a leather or rubber strap to a standard Daytona - but not the other way round:

I'd usually never vote against alligator but for some reason the swim ballistic looks really good.

To highlight this I've taken a picture of a 116506 case next to a 116519 Oysterflex case
It appears as though the endlink on the oysterflex case can be removed but there's still no getting around the lughole being in a different place.
Sorry guys, but then an oyster bracelet doesn't fit on this case? I had thought about putting them on my 116519

Was it a 116519 with oysterflex? Did you just change the strap?

If you had read the thread in more detail, you would have known that StreetFighter swapped the dial out of a 116519 into a "standard" Daytona case. You can't put an Oyster bracelet on a 116519 case.
