Hi my 111 finally arrived today from sead. Delays were Royal Mail not him. At 1st glance It.s a great rep BUT , the engraving on the case back is faulted the officine looks like it's spelt ofeicine because of scratched engraving.. I didn't get qc pics from sead and it was $240.. Should I return it or what options? I know it's a minor flaw but hey, the engraving on the model advertised isn't flawed..

Try to ask him if he can send you new caseback. Easier option than send the watch back to China and Sead will solve this for sure.
Sent him a pm, normally replies in 24hours so see what he says.. Rest of watch is pretty much ok so bit of a sickener.. Been waiting three weeks.. If he is kind enough to resend a case I'll have to buy a caseback tool
Get some gaffer tape, scrunch a ball of it together, and use that. Just push down and turn. It'll get it off just as easy as any tool.

1- Be sure is a scratch and not a stain easily removable by water and soap with a tooth brush
2- If you are sure it is a scratch, take a detailed pic and send it to the dealer, explaining the issue and asknig him for a solution.
3- The best and cheaper solution IMO is sending a new caseback. Try negotiate with dealer this solution. No needed to returm the watch to China

Wear it and don't sweat it. If you're like 75% of the other members you're going to destroy it anyways and sell it to get the next latest thing.
If it really bothers you, get a new CB... or learn to live with it

No worries mate. This just show QC pics still serve a good purpose. Afterall returning a watch to china is not like returning a watch to the states.

Sent sead a pm.. Hasn't replied yet.. Did as ale suggested but it's def a fault in engraving not a removable stain or blemish..
I appreciate its on the rear but it "spoils it".. I didn't ask for qc pics and should have as I wouldn't have accepted it. I'm sure sead will sort this as he seems to have a good reputation on here..

I'm sure he will as well. That would annoy me, a new caseback is the easy option if Sead can get hold of one.

sead been in touch and said post it back and he will refund.. Fair enough I don't mind stumping for postage.. I hope he can get another as it was very nice plus I have also bought oem strap and deployment buckle!

About 5 minutes with fine sanding file would have brushed it right off. Fyi. That trip across the pond to send it back will be 2 months before you get another. And its CNY. Double whammy.......
