just got my nomos ahoi atlantik Datum from trustytime today! That's about a week after I placed my order with him.

I approached half of the trusted dealers on this site but of the 4 that I enquired with, 3 said that they do not rep and one didn't reply.

In the end, I went with trusty time. I know, I know that he isn't a TD on this site for anti competitive behaviour, if I didn't understand wrongly. But I am buying a rep and rate it's quality more than his business practices.

After payment was made by PayPal, I got an email from Andrew telling me he got the payment and that QC pics will follow. And true to his word and communication, I got the pics in 4 days (though due to my excitement and anticipation, it was a Long wait). And once the pics was in, and I gave my Ok, I got the watch by EMS in 2 days.

I must say I am impressed with the quality (will try to include some photos later). Dial replication looks spot on, and I am happy that the movement allows a quick date set vs the genuine one. Beyond that, can't say much since I am no expert. Will have to wait for time to tell if it is durable.

The strap does look a little cheap, but I don't know if the original will look much better. In any case, I will be changing it to a black leather one.

The luminescence which I was concerned about slide to a review of a similar rep I read about turned out fine. Again, I am none the wiser about the exact Color code of the luminescence Nor have I seen many photos of the genuine one. But it looks good to me.

Case size as I measured is 40mm vs the diameter listed on his site as 38.5.

That sums up my review as a first time rep buyer. I am very pleased and only hope the rep will last for 5-10years (no I don't intend to hand watches down the generations)

Nice looking watch. Being a lesser known watch brand to the general public and a less commonly made rep, I don't think anyone will ever question it. Enjoy and wear it in good health!

Thanks! Just wanted to put my pretty good experience of my first Rep purchase out there, and a shout out to trustytime for making it a pleasant one

Looks a good'en, like Chris said, as it's not a common watch to be seen should have no issues and you can pick a gen up for around £1,500 - £2,500 so perfect!

Indeed a close match! Cost me about £185.

I was seriously considering a Gen. But after poring over the heritage, manufacturing etc, couldnt justify the price tag. I Dont value an in house movement more than an ETA. And I suppose why the gen cost what it costs is the movement.

Picture of the lume if anyone is interested. In The Gen stock photos, the hands look a bit green, but I doubt that will be the case in daily use.image.jpg. The
