I just got my 2nd watch from Trusty Time delivered and it was completely hassle free. We might still be in the middle of a world wide pandemic but my new Tudor Black Bay Heritage S&G came through in a just a few glitch fee weeks from the time of purchase. Last time it was more hassle as I hadn't got Bitcoin set up and because the first wave of Covid 19 had postal networks highly disrupted.
What I have got is a fantastic looking mechanical watch which is good for +-7secs per day (as measured on my new timegrapher).
I have also learnt more about the whole replica game and have taken a more considered and involved approach. I have bought some basic watchmaking tools, practised taking old watches apart and putting them back together again. I bought a genuine Swiss movement that I knew would fit my new Tudor rep. When the time comes, and it most likely will come, that the Chinese movement stops working properly, I will simply swop out the old movement and replace with the Swiss movement for less than the cost and hassle of a service.
What's not to like about that ????
