No date white dial Panerai

Hi everyone,

I'm searching for a Panerai watch without a date feature and with a white dial. I've narrowed it down to two options.

Which one would you choose and why? Also, are there any other models you could recommend?

The HWF 113 to hold you over until you can hopefully find a Noob or Hfac 113 in m2m. Don't sleep on the 114(if you can find one!). I have an old Hfac 114 and its great!

Just my opinion but the 778 has too much going on in the dial and is missing the cool factor of the old base models.

Wow. Yours looks incredible. Let me ask my TD about 114.
Also, the naming conventions of Panerai is super confusing for me. Is it same for you guys as well?

The 114 is sadly no longer produced :/

I'd you are quick and watch m2m on multiple forums like a hawk, you may be able to find one.

but that's the crapshoot of m2m really.. others specially old-timers already know what watches/models/etc to pounce on

something like this gets posted and it's basically sold

Case in point.. a rare Titanium PAM 036 got posted today..

sold before it even got approved I think

but yeah.. the old-time watches go QUICK because the old timers here know of the value and are probably looking for them..

sadly i would've bidded on it too but it's already gone when i woke up -.-

I would go with the 113. The combination of the hands and lume just looks better with the dial. That is, if I had to pick between those two. Honestly the “dirty dial” is not my favorite.

and this is where everyone's tastes and preferences come into play

just keep this in mind.. at the end of the day, YOU are the one wearing the watch.. so wear what catches your eye the most

i don't think you can go wrong with either the 778 or 113.. but there will be a point where your eye gravitates towards 1 more than the other

that's the one you get

and keep in mind this is Panerai... so the watch isn't finitely set because you have straps to consider... once you start throwing in strap combinations and such.. well, the world's your oyster

Just because I noticed you posted on the 036 and here, the PENDING tag just means it is pending approval, not pending a sale. It was definitely not sold before approval. Good luck finding some of the old-school models, I love them as well.

Yep, 113 by HWF is available through TD. Got mine one month ago.
