Seems odd to me there are no bids on this Omega.

Genuine?

Beautiful Omega men's watch. Usual signs of daily wear. Comes with white outer box and red leather genuine Omega display box. In fully working order. Watch serviced by Omega 2011. Keeps very good time. Original Omega hesalite crystal with Omega symbol.

I don't know Phil. only 3 pics. Doesn't show any papers anywhere. I'd have to be damn sure it was gen before I placed a bid. If I was buying I would be asking for a pic of proof of the service, and if it has the paperwork, movement pics if they can. plus, the description sucks. Very minimal. I would want to know as much about the watch as possible. Also, this seller has sold nothing but baby toys, and now all of a sudden an Omega watch, with only a little over 100 feedback. All positive but I've seen fakes being sold by people even just this week that we've reported that have a higher feedback score. I guess you just never know, but I would have to have some proof before spending a good chunk of change. If it is real yes, that's a good deal.

Looks like Speedmaster Reduced, not the moon watch. They go for alot less than the moonies.

And, I do not believe there is a replica available so chances are it is a gen.

Movement is an issue in these watches. I think these are one of the chronographs that omega does a complete swap instead of service. The old movement is sent back for overhaul or scrapping. It will be difficult to get this serviced outside of an AD.

ashtree, you are right, it is the reduced. I didn't even notice that. Good catch, and yes, they are much less than the moonie's. and this one looks well used.

Actually they do make reps of the reduced crwilsn. Saw one on RWG not too long ago. The gen "Reduced" models say automatic on the dial.

but the reps say professional, which is wrong.

Here's the rep of the reduced version at 38 mm's, but it says professional instead of automatic, http://puretime-asia.com/product/sp...e-moon-watch-black-dial-on-ss-bracelet-a7750/

But yeah, looks fine to me. It's very easy to spot a Speedmaster rep due to the subdials. The second hand is also different on the reduced, making it easy to distinguish

Yes, like in that review stated, it's a nice looking watch, but there are a lot of flaws that make it different from the gen, but I still think it's a nice looking watch.

Sorry but that's not a replica of a reduced model. It's just a not so good replica of the professional. The dial is not trying to be like the one on the reduced, but it is smaller because of the limitations of the movement used. Look at the case back in comparison to an automatic and look at the size comparison to an automatic reduced. The lug width on the reduced automatic I believe is only 19 mm vise 20 mm on the professional and this replica of the professional.

Also on the reduced the seconds register and the minute register for the chronograph are swapped.

The picture above is almost certainly a Gen reduced.
