Nice Fiddy with broken crystal. Help!!

Glucydur screw balance
MINERAL CRYSTAL
DIAMETER : 47mm
THICKNESS : 12mm

I bought this one from River 2-3 years back .Very nice watch. Woke up one morning shortly after buying it, and the glass was cracked. Hardly used at all. Try to contact River, never reply. Is there a fix for this? Will a new domed crystal fit? Who will supply this? Is it worth doing an upgrade on this watch? Thankful for any advice.

Davidsen sells new sapphire replacement crystals for the Fiddy for about $80 USD, I think.

If it is worth it or not is up to you...

I've got the same situation.
Davidsen is selling sapphire with AR at $100USD shipped.
40mm dia. You might want to use calipers on your bezel to see what will fit your exact parts.
Davidsens have a reputation for fitting most of what's out there and being good quality.

Do you have the E decoration on movement? Don't know if they decorate the Russian ones same as the 6497..?
