Here is another pictorial of one of my PAMs, acquired since getting into the rep hobby a few months back. I'm taking pics of my collection so far, as I'll be thinning it out soon. Please excuse the protective plastic still on the display back and the lug screw, which I forgot to tighten. I've only tried the 212 on, to see how I liked it, but have never got around to wearing it.

Nice pics, like the idea with the old camera :D

The 212 is very nice. Most Panerai chronos don't "speak" to me, but this one is pretty high on my wishlist.

Nice watch and really great pics! I can't believe you are not giving this any wrist time, the 212 and 253 are simply fantastic chrono time pieces. My 253 gets almost all of my wrist time, well at least it did until last week when I got my Fiddy.

Thx for the comments. What drew me to the watch was the "fiddy" like case and the simple 2-sub-dial design for a chronograph. I've got a 250 and a 192, as well, so this one just gets no wrist time at all. However, since both the other chronos are on their way to Ziggy for re-luming, it may just get a little time now. Next, I'm looking to get a 253 with Seagull manual wind movement :)

Oh, and the camera is a German made Robot with built in autowinder. It was used by the Luftwaffe (German air force) for aerial reconnaissance. Unique camera with an interesting history :)

who is Sead?

Dealer in the States, who is a member of another forum. He actually does quality control before sending out his watches :) As for cost, it usually the same as the other big dealers.

He may not be trusted here as he is not a member and may not have applied to be a trusted dealer here. I think he only belongs to the one site, and is happy with setting up shop there. Probably gets just enough orders to keep him busy, while not overwhelming him.

Sead is a dealer over at RG who ships direct stateside. He is top notch and is always spot on. More recently he is now modding PAM's (lume, cannon pin etc). He would be a great dealer to add on this site if you could get him.

Alright, I'll bite. What on earth is an SOH and what does it have to do with a PAM 212 or even Panerai? :|

Don't recall exactly how much, off hand, but I believe it was around $275 shipping included. For those who can't find Sead from the above info, I would also suggest trying Hont, he is a trusted dealer here and is great to buy from, provides pics before he sends it out for your approval, his office is in the rep factory district and his prices are great. Just send him a pic of what you want and he'll source it for you.
