Alex, like you, I was sold too as I had a few of them on my wrist last month in Paris.
I almost bought one as a momentum haha.
And just like the other watches I tried on. Place Vendome was a square of candy stores to me. I went into almost all of them. The service was amazing. Blancpain house at Place Vendome was very impressive and eager to get anything on my wrist just like the AD at Laffayette. They send me home with a number of hardcover catalogues. The AD was already sold out of the repped version.
Hublot was another that impressed me in a big way. I have already bought one of the divers from Sead that they showed me. Not the gen... Lol
Sead sourced me the Big Bang King Diver oceanographic 4000 titanium V2 at a fraction of the gen.
I walked in at thePanerai Boutique with my gen pam328 because i assumed that would surely upscale the hello from the browser type. It did too. It was here I almost bought a new Pam. They had the pam571 anniversary diver. One of fifty who are only available at a few of their own boutiques. I'm a Pam nut so I seriously considered it. I have the 243 already.
So the only one still on my want list is the fifty fathoms. When Sead can get it, I will get one. I'm a patient man.
