Newish arrivals 243 & 88

Thought Id share a couple of pics of two fairly newish arrivals which were received just before the CNY.
The Pam88 really suits the Watchboys dark brown alligator strap that I had knocking around. Never owned a GMT before but I'm glad I've got one as the quality is amazing and makes for a very nice dressy Pam. Was toying with the idea of the 29M but I think I made the right choice as I wasnt to sure about the tuxedo dial.

The 243L is something else, a stunning rep which feels and looks really good. I've owned in the past a couple of gen subs and for the price you really cant go wrong. Strongly recommend anyone thinking about the 243 go for it, you wont be dissappointed. Ive ordered a couple of new straps from Gunny and Wotoncrafts but until then it'll stay on the Micah Mauser ammo as you cant beat the smell off the old worn vintage leather.

Also had a 366 arrive but mine wasnt blessed with good fortune as it broke the very next day, so its currently been sent away for repairs, will post some pics when it returns.

I was supposed to be cutting down my watch spending this year but I cant help myself!

I did go for a vintage styled strap but not the 1950 original, fancied the aged look and the history of the Mario Arillo inspired creation

88 was from Toro Bravo a TD over on Repgeek and the 243 was from Puretime.

The 243 easily brings me as much satisfaction as my gen 199 did when I owned it, it's a great chunky sub which is very comfortable to wear and outstanding quality. Luckily I didn't get one with wonky numbers which some have.
