newby Panerai Rep.?

Hi

I havent been following the panerai's before. I am wondering if there is a
low price entry level panerai rep which someone can
get into.

Some of the davidsen are nice but very pricy if u buy it then discover
its not ur style...

Would there be any recommendation for a panerai rep that reasonable
classic at a reasonable price.??? doesnt have to be 100% 1 to 1 etc..

I received mine last week. Here it is, on the strap as supplied:

At this price - if you don't like the style, it is no great loss.

But I suspect that the Panerai bug will bite you, too... as it has so many others.

Before you know it, you'll have Panerai all over the house and a strap collection that has your Dearly Beloved shaking her head in bemusement...

I wore my Trevor 005 on polished stingray, today.

I can second (or third) the nomination of the 005 from Trevor. For $75 SHIPPED, it's utterly unbeatable. I received mine yesterday. It's my first Panerai as well. The only negative about the watch is the glass crystal. I'm already searching for a sapphire drop-in replacement because I know it's only a matter of time before I shatter it. Mine came with the same strap as in Clive's first photo. It's a little stiff, but not bad.

Don't forget to ask Trevor for a free gift pen as well. The Montblanc he sent me is absolutely beautful, and very solid. Even the ink cartridge that came with it is very nice and smooth.

I'll post a quick reveiw in the dealer section later tonight.
