Hey everybody,

my name is Marvin I am from germany and just got a bit more into watches.

I am a concrete technologist/engineer and will go for a PhD in that field. So basically I'm obsessed with concrete.
Therefore I of course fell in love with the style of the >hublot-classic-fusion-aerofusion-concrete-jungle-watch<.

I am sure that I can produce the concrete parts of this watch myself.

However, I tried to find a base watch which I can use to modify which has a screwed bezel.

I checked Doxa, Ball, Hamilton watches and of course different chinese platforms but couldnt find anything.

Will a replica of AP or Hublot be the only choice?
Does anyone know some other "similar" watches for a fair price with a screwed bezel?
All the chinese brands seem to have a single part pressed casing.

I would be happy if someone could help me.

Well it looks really nice not gonna lie.
But it seems a bit too expensive to "abuse" it for my concrete idea haha

You can get a decent AP rep for between 300 and 800, sometimes less, if you watch the sales area.

i suggest 15703 diver, as it is a chunkier watch and theres mass to replicate with concrete.

But if you want something daintier, then 15400 or 15500. All of them have sandwich cases - top bezel, midcase and caseback, screwed together. And it would be really fun to see a textured concrete AP dial on it as well.

I’ve already sold all my divers, but I know of some that might be available for experimentation.

Looking forward to your creations :)

Thanks for your suggestions Procurator.
I ordered a skeletonized Hublot via a supporting vendor.

Once it arrives and I produced + installed my selfmade concrete bezel I will make sure to post it here :)
I will have a top notch concrete lab available from february to make my bezel.

I am quite thrilled for the watch. If everything is smooth with the vendor I probably also try one of your suggestions.
