Hi Guys...

I have just purchased the PAM363 Luminor Chrono - Before I bust it can you guys tell me when winding the watch up using the crown should it wind to a finish or is the intention to just wind it a small amount to get it going and then allow the wearing of the watch to keep it going? If it is the latter, how long should the watch keep ticking for when you do not wear it? My one appears to stop after a couple of hours of none wearing, is that normal?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Pam 363 is fitted with A7753 movement which is a self winding movement, there is no finish of winding that you can keep on winding it 24/7. Since it is a self winding watch, you just have to wind it(probably 10 turn) to kick start the watch, adjust time and date and just wear it.

How long does the PR last depends on how much PR you have supplied to your watch, self wind is by the movement of your hand not just by wearing it. If you are someone who is working in a desk bound environment, surely your supply of PR to your watch is not much as compared with someone who move around everyday on work.

If you suspect there is something wrong with your watch PR, I suggest you to give it a gentle full manual winding by crown(around 40 to 50 turn) and leave it there to observe the watch PR.

It should last supposingly around 35 to 40 hours fully wind so if it doesn't even last a day after fully wind, send it for repair.
