Hi All,

My name is Rock, and I live in Green Bay, WI (USA) where I work as an ICU nurse. I've been a watch guy for quite some time, but this is my first foray into the rep watch world. My current collection is mostly relatively inexpensive gen watches with a few decent watches from Movado and Tissot thrown in. The "fanciest" watch I currently own is probably my 2006 Limited Edition Nickey Hayden T-race.

Anyway...

I saw a Facebook ad for a rep rainbow cosmograph a few days ago (a watch I have coveted for a long time) and it has led me down a rabbit hole that has led me here. I've spent the last couple days reading through the rules, FAQs, and forum posts. I think I have a pretty good idea of how this is supposed to work and I will continue to sift through the plethora of information on this site before I pull the trigger on something. I tend to be one of those people who will obsess over something like this, gathering all the info I can, until I finally buy something.

That being said if anyone has had any good experiences and/or specific advice related to the process of obtaining a rep Rainbow Daytona Cosmograph in WG, I'd love to hear it.

Also, I have a big wrist and frequently need to purchase an extra link or two with watch purchases. Is that a pretty common, easily doable request with most TDs, or is it something I could run into issues with?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and letting me into the group; I look forward to learning and eventually contributing here.

Rock

Hi Rock and welcome to RWI!
Good thing you did some reading first, in that case I don't necessarily need to tell you to read the stickies in the New members area (all subsections) to get a grasp of some basic forum rules and get some good advice on how it all works.
You seem to have the right attitude, research, study, read before actually acting out, you'll do good here. And when in doubt, you have the most knowledgeable watch community at your disposal to help you out. And that's no joke, the level of proficiency and knowledge here is mind blowing.
For your specific question, I'm afraid I can't help you much, the rainbow is not my cup of tea, but there is something out there and I'm sure I've seen a thread or two on the topic. For research purposes you can use Google, by typing, for example, "rainbow Daytona site:forum.replica-watch.info", you'll get exclusively rwi info that way. Don't ever use Google to look for TDs though, lots of copycat scam sites lurking out there, use always RWI'S links.
Since it's always good practice to contact a TD before making the order to ask for availability, I would then also specify your wrist requirements and make clear you need sufficient links. My first watch was an OP and arrived sized just about right for my average 17,5cm wrist. Had it been bigger I'd had a problem.
If you need anything else, don't hesitate to contact @eBoy or me, we'll be happy to assist.

Enjoy the forum!
