New ZF Version of IWC Portuieser Annual Calendar IW5035

Hello,

looks like Trusty is the first TD that offers ZF´s new Version of IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar.

There are 4 Versions of the Gen:
IW5035-01 SS Case, silver Dial and Hands
IW5035-02 SS Case, blue Dial and silver Hands
IW5035-04 RG Case, silver Dial and RG Hands
IW5035-10 SS Case, black Dial and RG Hands

These are the 4 Versions of the Rep:

I have not held the Rep in Hands, but just from the Pictures on Trustys Website is this picture taken:

Is it just me, or does it read "SCAFUBIA" instead of SCAFUSIA?

To me this looks like another spelling Error on the Engavings. They fixed one and added another?

What do you guys think?

Hi, I am a owner of IWC Portuguese 7 days ZF V4 version. The spelling issue you mentioned is not something new since the brand new ZF annual calendar, but my 7 days V4 version has a same spelling issue as the picture illustrates.
However, I tried to investigate other spelling problem, but that is the only major issue I have found.

Personally, unless the person who is looking at this watch is super hardcore fan of IWC(or employee of IWC), this spelling issue is barely noticeable that I have just realized it through your post over 2 years period of time(I had to literally stare it, frowning my face, wearing glasses for about 10 seconds-this is a microscopic level of detail-). I would say this issue is negligible in real life compare to "INTERNATIONAL WATCH. 'BR.'" and "SWISS TECH"(these YLF spelling issues are quite obvious which more likely can get caught that this is a replica).

So in conclusion, yes this is a (very minor) issue but it has been a issue since(at least) the first release of Portuguese 7 days ZF replica. I would say this is not a deal breaker and I have a good reputation of ZF factory in terms of quality and longevity of replica watch among any other factories in IWC replica field.

Does it have a REAL annual Calendar meaning days of months are on the bridge wheels pre-calculated.. like April has 30 days and then automatically goes to May?

No it does not. It has 31 days for each month. When you wake up on May 1st it is going to say April 31 & you manually adjust it. 5 times a yr you are going to have to spend maybe 30 seconds or so. Seems like a small price to pay...
