I really want to find a good rep of VC Overseas.
Closed caseback and quite thick case - factories are able to make a Super rep ).

Is it me or does the watch band and face look grayish rather than black? I'm wondering if the dial is black or looks like anthracite? I've seen a gen anthracite with a steel band at the AD and it is really beautiful, subdued, sporty...the black and white had the textured dials that look dressier.

Yes, the numbers look like the biggest failure in this version. Everything else is passable. Gosh, I wish they would just get it right! The VCO a perfect opportunity for a super rep, the factory just has to put more effort into it!

Makes me seriously mad when they take a step forward and two steps back.

I really don't understand why do rep factories make so much efforts to produce good reps of Patek Philippe Nautilus or AP RO 15400 with open casebacks, and make such huge mistakes in VC Overseas with closed?

Well, if they make it right the first time then you won't buy the v2 v3 and v4...but then again I don't know how this helps them in the sense they have to go through don't know how many iterations of manufacturing a single part again to get closer to gen. Frustrating indeed...

You guys are totally right on the numbers being wrong. Initially I thought it might be the lighting in the rep pics or may be the scale, but regretfully the numbers are totally wrong... I'm not 100% sure I could tell w/out having the gen side by side.

Looks like all reps of the overseas have the wrong font numbers...

Are the numbers really so off? I don't see major difference. Most of the VC reps I see, the biggest tell would be the secondhand not being long enough - bcos on vacheron they're particularly long, almost touching the sides

That's when you need to do the ole, "can I buy this tomorrow when I do I have the funds?" Answer is probably no, not tomorrow. Maybe in another 6 months when another goes on sale. lol Real world problems mate.. this is one of them!
