I'm nearly 100% certain that more than one of "our" dealers will be able to source this for you. Most likely at a better price, as well.

I hope so. What do you think about the finish of the CG? Looks very DNS-ich, maybe a little better..

this is the same as the one Daytona4me sources for a better price. The CG lever and the subdial has been criticized on these, but D4M can source 'em for you for a better price and he is obviously more accessable (as he is admin here). PM him.

What is the issue with the leveller? when you say subdial, do you mean the seconds markers? From the pictures I've seen there is nothing wrong.. I might me interested, but if there are issues maybe I should stick with my thee ti pams ;)

the lever sticks out away from the case too much and the second dial is small compared to gen. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good buy, given the Ti shortage right now. D4M can help you more in details.

Should be real Ti.

Some of them are brushed SS, but most of them are real Titanium.

Huh? The new CG is a long way from spot on. In fact, the only thing this new CG has going for it over DSN's Ti CG is that it will fit on "normal" Ti rep cases. In terms of visual accuracy, this CG is worse than either DSN's or the older rep Ti CGs.

Hi,

what about the aspect of cannon pinion ? Is it this colour in the gen ?
I would like to buy this 036 with an SC strap, but I don't know why, something looks odd to me with this pinion. Or is it the pic ?

Needless to ask : any experience with this one in the flesh, especially the lume ? Sorry for my noobish question on the PAM

There is apparently a "plug" installed, or that watch uses capped hands - most likely to mask a short cannon pin. Also, in the closed position, the lever should be closer to edge of the case....

I have the 177H version and can tell you that it does have the longer H3 cannon pinion. The hands have a plug that can be removed but it is not easy without damaging the surface; I chose to fit DSN hands.

The CG lever protrudes from the body too much; this to me is the most glaring fault.

It is solid Ti although in my case the see-thru caseback is SS and engraved that way. I purchased a DSN solid Ti one but it has a different size thread.

The other issue that I had, which I believe is also true of the 036, is that the scaling of the dial is all wrong. If you take a look at the 8 and 10 marks they should be longer. Also the 'L Swiss Made L' is barely visible when you look straight on. Other scale issues also exist. I ended up replacing the dial with a DSN one; which is not a straight swop since this too is a different diameter and required a spacer ring to to turned up.

PS. Just saw the post by Boudart. This is not the same watch or at least not the same dial/hands. I guess you need to ask the appropriate questions...

This is not a great copy but as someone else mentioned there is a shortage of Ti models around so make your own decision.

All I was saying is that if anybody order from the Twins that's what I'll get.

No problem Boudart. I was just submitting when I saw your post. I guess anyone considering this watch needs to get updated pictures.

Thx all for your clarifications.

:D

Boudart, how is the lume on yours ? Is it standard rep lume ?

True, looking at the picture from TT, it looks like it's a cap. Well, if so, I'd better refrain from purchasing it. That's too bad, as I like the coffee dial a lot.

But all in all, it looks good as a watch (Ti), for the price I mean.

Thx again :D

Lume not bad (aroud 5 hours for the dial, much less for the hands), but nothing compare to my 177 with sandwich dial.
As for the price, I got the cheapest (198$) but as TT did not have it available he sent me an upgraded version.

Well, not 100% sure yet, but maybe I'd rather go for a DSN, as anyway I would have the cost of reluming and cnnon pinion fix if I bought the one of TT.

http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e230/ ... PAM%20036/

What do you all think of it ? Any remaining obvious tell ?

Also it's not available with Asian movement, DSN tells me it's because the Asian does not have the blued screws. That raises the price further, that's why I'm really trying to go where I'm going.

Any comment is warmly welcome :D

I wanted to contact DSN for a while, but I thought there was shortage of Ti case and that it wouldn't be available.
I thought that DSN picture's quality was kind of bad and lately his reputation seem not to be as high as it used to be.
I got this one after I saw someone who got his from TT, like I already stated in this thread.

Knowing what I know now of the twins, I definetely wouldn't buy from them anymore, I made a mistake and I sorry for that.
If TT has others also have it.

If I were you, and I'm sure you already bought from DSN, I'll go back to him.
Does the leitmotiv: "Find your dealer and choose your watch" apply here?
