No longer a DLC plated case, this time it's ceramic as per gen.

Got the gen offered for just a bit over $2,000 today... the black/white version as in the picture above.
The MSRP is $4,995 USD for this watch and the rep goes for $300 but I have no idea how close the rep is to the gen.

Did you end up getting the gen @lovesRM? I've had an eye on the Ceramic Shield for a while but there hasn't been much posted about it unfortunately! To pull the trigger or to not pull the trigger...

This replica really got me hooked, I don't like Coated metal, so the ceramic version made is what I'm interested in. Really looking forward for a review from someone more experienced than I am!

Got mine from m2m. It really is a beautiful watch. Crystal is terrible though, I know a lot of people said the gen is like that, but such a shame to hide that amazing dial under a very reflective crystal. I will def get prof 2AR treatment for it, though it won't be gen-like.

Picture above took a lot of tries to get it from a perfect angle & under perfect lighting. Most of the time, the watch look like this:

I've ordered the tan version and received the QC pics today. I'd have shared the album, but can't link externally here, so I'll stick to two notable pics.

Three things I've noticed:
- From what I can tell, the timegrapher appears to be in order. 6.9s/d drift is a bit more than I've previously seen in QC pics, but around what can be considered realistic. The amplitude is 290°, which is a bit more than the 270-ish degrees usually seen, but that seems to be okay.
- In the first pic, there are some marks on the date change mechanism. On around 2-3 o'clock of the inner circles, and on the bottom/right edge of the triangle.
- In the second pic, I see some marks around the lower edge of the lower left lug (the one next to the serial number).

I'm not entirely sure whether these are flaws in the case, or just dust. Thoughts?
Oh, and there seems to be some white spots in the crown. I suppose they're more likely to be specks of dust than scratches. Thoughts regarding that?
