That link sent me to their home page. What watch are you talking about ? I've been on the hunt for a TT worthy of wearing. Preferably a Rolex Sub. BK makes an awesome one but the slots he offered are already taken. Ugh !

You can't order them anymore you can only find them used now. I waited over a year and I was #21 on the pre order list.

I know that. I mentioned it earlier. Personally, I've been trying to track down just one of the bracelets that BK used/uses.

I'm also after a worthy nice wrapped TT Blue sub and hopefully I can also find an all YG blue sub too, although I know the latter will be close to impossible.

How often do pre-owned BK/WM9 TT's actually come up in the member sales?
I know I just missed one but wondering if other have come up.

I have three BKLM/WM9 watches (YM,TT,LV) and wouldn't sell them for double what I paid because they cannot be replaced. I suspect many other owners feel the same way. They are no longer a "commodity" on the market (which can be replaced) so they now are more valuable then they were when all you had to do to get one was sign up and wait.

I see about one or two used ones come up for sale a year.

As soon as someone offers a "better" or "equally good" sub they will no longer be considered so valuable because they can be replaced with something equally as good.

I am waiting for some good photos and review comments on BKLM's TW build. It may be the equal of his WM9 work. If so, owners of the BKLM/WM9 watches will be more willing to let theirs go for a reasonable price. However, as I understand it the TW is only SS: no TT or LV versions available as of now (but it shouldn't be too hard to create them in the future).

Everything has a price. But at some point, you pass a price range that is acceptable for a REP. You can achieve the aesthetics of BK's offerings with some work on your own. Just need to do a lot of research and either pay someone , or do it yourself.

In order to get a decent TT Sub bracelet, you'll probably have to ask several dealers if they can source you a good gold wrapped one, making sure the endlinks have the gold on the sides. Otherwise, you'd have to shell out $$$ for an aftermarket generic bracelet with real gold. You also have to make sure you get a clasp comparable to the BK one, with the correct size and shape coronet. I think WM9 made the BK bracelets to spec specifically for that watch and the components came from Taiwan, just like the old Eddie Lee Rolexes back in the day.

I have a bracelet like the one you're describing , on it's way to me. I don't know
The caliber of the watch itself. I've contemplated buying a Gen bracelet. I've seen them for as low as $750 bucks. It's quite a project. But you really cannot find a great TT sub out the box these days.

While it is true the "great" BKLM/WM9 TT sub (picture below) is no longer available and it does seem the "cheap" but "very good" Noobmariner TT sub (picture below) is no longer available, it is also true that the TT look is still available in many ways.

Pictured below are three three TT Rolex subs I own and wear. Different yes but the similarities are greater than the differences.

Some people, even astute RWI members, will have difficulty telling them apart. So the TT sub look is still available and whether or not your TT is one of the "great" ones won't be detectable across the dinner table.

Finally, it doesn't even have to say Rolex to have the great TT visual impact. I bought the watch below on the RWI member sales forum.

As long as the Submariner blue is the correct shade and hue and you can't see any non gold wrapped parts of the links while on the wrist, you probably can't lose getting a nice ETA version offered by your choice of our trusted dealers.

Gotta love that BK Sub though, I love mine as much as my gen watches.

I will post pictures once I get mine all modded up to what I like. Since most of us are on here a lot, and have an eye for spotting minor defects etc, we become extremely anal about what we buy and how we look at these watches. Donald hit it on the head. If it's as good as the ones in his picture, 95% of people looking at it will never know it is fake. Now, let me give you some advice. If you're wearing such a beautiful eye catching watch as this is, the rest of your attire better also go along with the watch. That's the easiest way that people come to the conclusion that you're wearing a fake. If you look like you can't afford one.

Donald - tell me if I'm right:
#1 is the cheapie
#2 is the WM9/BK
#3 is the Noob
#4 has the 2nd most QC and the best warranty

Did I nail them??

The one that perfect clones is offering now has 18k plated Gold. But it claims that it is done using the same DLC technique that they are using to PVD/DLC the black cases. This should in theory give much better wear resistance and also make it look a lot more gen 'like' my concern is always that the dial and the bezel don't have the same blue shimmer.

The ones that Donald posted look nice, but the dealer photos never seem to capture the same blue hue to the dial, and that makes me worried tbh.

I'm calling BS on Perfect Clones.

I saw my first gen one about 4-5 months ago. The guy was a toolpusher on an oil rig. Can be very hands on, tough work in a rough environment. This guy was wearing it every day on the rig. Scruffy clothes etc. He was however around 45+ years old. This is one of the reasons why I would hesitate to buy a watch like this, even though I think they look amazing.

Could I afford a gen rolex, yes, i'd have to save a bit and justify it to my wife. Could I afford a TT blue sub, yes. Would my friends and family think I was being a poncy twat who gets paid too much and has my priorities up my ass. Probably yes as well :D

Well, they already have access to the equipment to do carbon PVD. Why not use it for gold? It's probably cheaper than plating, and also probably uses less gold than plating. It's probably cheaper than wrapping as well, even using 18k as opposed to 14k wrapping.

I'm not calling BS just yet. Just dubious until someone has proof i guess.
