New to the PAM section looking for advice

Hey guys,

I'm new to the Pam section and was looking for some advice on my first rep. I have a bit smaller of a wrist (6.5") and love trying to find one with the least flaws from the gen. Been reading a lot about the new V6F maker's watches, and they seem to be looking pretty good. Either way just wanted to see what some of the PAM experts say.

Just got Pam 676. Lume is nice color but only lasts for about 2 minutes then needs to be recharged. Anyone have the same experience? What's your experience?

Hey man,

I've been looking at the 312 and a few other models. I like features like date wheel or no date wheel. I'm just trying to get advice on the best rep PAM's kinda like the Noob submariners. I like to buy a well rep'ed watch and dissect when it arrives

What do you think about the new VSF 312 just released ? Do you know if the movement can accept gen dial ?

I mean they only illuminate (glow) in the dark for a minute or 2 after being exposed to light and then they need to be exposed to light again to get charged so they can glow in the dark. Hope this makes sense.

If you mean you expect the lume to glow like a torch for hours, you will be disappointed. In gen PAMs as well as reps. Superluminova is supposed to be very bright for a few minutes only and then drop down in intensity to a faint but still readable time in complete darkness. Can't really say for a fact the quality of lume on reps compared to that on gens but it's probably in general comparable, especially for reps released probably not earlier than a few years ago.
