Hello guys,

long time lurker of RWI but first time posting. I really enjoy all the resources this site has to offer and the community is very helpful. I love mechanical time pieces. My holy grail is the orange planet ocean. Other than that I have plenty diver watches and g shocks. I have no watch maker skills and very little knowledge about movements.

I bought my first replica watch after falling in love with Panerai watches. Ive done my homework about the pam441 and made a risky purchase on the new VSF pam441with the correct position of the balance wheel. I wanted to give it a shot and appreciate how flawless it looks compared to the Gen. I went through ryan from intime and received plenty QC pics which were great, although there was one minor flaw which made me sound too meticulous as its barely noticeable. I never sought to be very detailed oriented but I think RWI made me this way. intime kept replying to me in email saying "im confused, I dont understand, what are you talking about" even as far as saying "this is 'crayzy'" (with that exact spelling) and claimed everything is 'normal'. I finally gave in and approved. I have nothing bad to say as I have not received the watch yet but I attached some QC pics in which I heavily analyzed and compared to the model shown on intime's news blog which was the main selling point for me.

The flaw I noticed was around the center pin where the hands meet. I just noticed some blemishing or discoloration around the center of the hands if you zoom in. I am not sure if its the camera angle but it shows in multiple close up shots. Everything else looks very nice. This flaw is Nothing too major but I wouldnt mind modding it using some DIYs for fun. what Do you guys think?

Before I ask the questions I want to clarify that I have been searching and found nothing regarding this model so please understand.

Where do they sell replacement hands for this specific model? I have found ebay to have many panerai hands but none match the same color and none are GMT hands.

Does the movement need to be removed or can I just twist off the crystal and work from the top?

Is this worth it or too much work for nothing? Time will tell I have not received the watch but below are some pics

Thanks everyone

Center cap is polished as it should

What you see is only light reflect, not on the minute hand... but on the cap.

Yes I hope you are right. I'll post pics when I receive the watch
