New Straps & AR Removed!!!

I had my watch repaired recently and while I was at it I had the AR removed.

Here's a before and an after picture - on the left, blue tint, on the right, crystal clear!! I'm really pleased with how it looks now.

I also found a few 24mm straps on Amazon of all places. I got them on-sale for $15.00 each, plus $5 shipping. They're really pretty nice, especially for the $$. Original price was $40. Only issue with them I have is that the pin holes at the tops aren't big enough to put tubes through. So, I just ordered an extra set of screws in the event I somehow bend the ones I'm using to attach the straps now.

why is the AR on there. sorry to ask - I am long time rolex rep guy but new to the pams - bought my first one a few weeks ago and it has not come off my wrist - i love it!

I actually thought it had a blask face in the pics but then I get it and the AR makes it look blue all the time?

I'm with you on the heavy rep AR. On a simple two hand dial like many PAMs, what's the point? Strip it off of 'em.

Good AR like Taka's is great for more sophisticated dials that deserve to be clearly viewed through the crystal.

Just my $0.02 USD.

Yea, I really disliked the blue tint the glass had - dead giveaway it's a rep too. No idea why they put it on - a gen has AR on it but its tint is more yellow than anything else. I was about to order a new case w/ a new crystal in it - no AR - for $50 from Jackson but got this done instead.
