New strap on my Grand Carrera Caliber 17

Hey, as the title says, I need a new strap But I'm not sure wether to pick a leather strap, rubber or metal? What do you guys think? I really want a leather but not quite sure how that would look like on this watch

Also, what is the meassurement on the strap?
