I have read a lot of positive reviews of Bob straps - so I decided to get one for the fiddy.

26/22 brown aligator with ivory stitching. What do you guys think? Should look good with fiddy right?

It should look nice. Is it real gator or stamped?

I like honey colored straps too, a little lighter. Get a whole bunch if they're cheap.

Please post your impressions of this strap when it arrives. I have been looking at these as well.

It appears that its stamped leather, not real croc (well for 25.00 USD I wouldn't expect real croc anyway). I will post reviews. I woul also like to find a brushed screw-in-buckle, as no one makes deployement buckles for 26mm it seems.

http://www.globalwatchband.com -- Rich sells brushed 22mm deployants (I have one on my 24/22 Hirsch Liberty strap). He's a great guy, I've bought tons of stuff from him, located in FL, IIRC.

Hi,

no-one makes a 26mm lug width strap that fits the panny 22mm deployant.

for your buckle.

I have this

fitted with a BOB Vertigo camouflage calf in "black/gold", in practice darker / lighter brown.

Thanks, I ordered a buckle for the upcoming strap. I suppose I could always recycle the old buckle on to the new strap too...

Depending on how thick your BOB strap is, the deployant I linked to should work. My Hirsch strap is about 4mm thick, I believe.

For a good price on screw in brushed buckles, you can check http://www.internationalwatchman.com or wholesaleoutlet990 on eBay.

Good luck.

I got the same strap in black for my fiddy and it is stamped. Nice strap, but I am upgrading it with a Greg crazy horse, and a 'wardrobe' of straps just acquired from the illustrious Elliot at TC.

FYI - Just bought a strap and deployment from his e-bay shop for $25 cheaper than his web site. ;)
