New saphire help

Hi guys, looking for a little help.

I have a Planet Ocean 45.5mm rep, wit a badly scratched crystal.

But I don't really know the best route to take with regards to replacing it.


I'm not bothered about sticking a gen sapphire in it, so what are my other options?

I've done a search and all I seem to find are recommendations for cousins in the UK, which is fine, but I'd rather not spend a fortune on a gen part.

cousins have 'omega generic sapphire glasses', would anyone recommend them?

What have others done?

If you cant go gen, next best choise is sunnydale's crystal, which are awesome but not available anymore from sunny.

Try posting a wanted to buy thread or look at the member sales from time to time for one.

Generic crystal are just standard one, last choice for me...

I love this place, I've been offered a sapphire from a UPO, but mine isn't a UOP, its an earlier model, I presume it will fit?

If its a 45.5mm and movement is either clone or swiss 2428/2836 is UPO.

If the watch house an 21j movement there is a chance the crystal wont fit...

crap. Yes RWI does rock. but mine is just a 21J.

what size should the UPO/gen one be? and i'll measure mine with some vernier callipers.

Gen crystal is around 32.6mm and i think UPO is the same.
